Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to finally get this up and going, it has been on my to do list for awhile now. I am learning how to customize this little by little so stay tuned for new and exciting changes happening all the time! This is where I will be posting images from my recent sessions and sharing all the current events and promotions going on at Julie Scheuler Photography!
I'll start by sharing a little about myself and how I got to where I am today. I promise to give you the quick version....from May 2002 - July 2011, I owned a photography franchise called "Lil' Angels Photography" it was a wonderful business specializing in children photography. I learned so much and worked with some amazing people! In October 2009, our son was born and that November my husband was transferred to Springfield, IL and we moved to the Forsyth area. I was driving back and forth 3 hours trying to keep Lil' Angels going and with a new baby at home, it was a little overwhelming to say the least. As Caden got older, the commute got harder and after 19 months of leaving home for a week at a time, multiple weeks a month......I made the decision to sell the business . I am now staying at home with our son and starting "Julie Scheuler Photography," which I will do part time. I couldn't be more excited to be back in my hometown and to start photographing!
There you have it....the quick version. If you are still interested to find out more about me and Julie Scheuler Photography, my website will have more info. I have been working hard to finish it and should have it up very soon now! This has been an ongoing project of mine. Many of you know....I've been talking about it for years. So I am super excited to almost be finished with it.
I found a new location to photograph that I am absolutely in love with!! Check out my most recent session...i usually photograph children but I had a blast photographing this handsome guy! OK, he also happens to be my younger brother (I know people will call me out on this if I don't mention it up front). lol I needed a model and he was in town from AZ and happily volunteered. Thanks Troy! I have to say it was nice not to have to run and chase after him like some of my little ones. :) It was hard to narrow down the pictures and pick only a few to post, but here are some of my favorites......
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please check in often and feel free to leave a comment if you'd like.
Cheers!
Julie
